New England Pediatric Care is a unique type of nursing home. It's for children -- not elders.Our 80-bed facility in North Billerica Massachusetts is specifically designed for children who are medically-complex and have severe cognitive and neurological impairments. Its one of the seven pediatric skilled nursing facilities in the New England Pediatric Nursing Home consortium, which cares for 500 children in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.
We provide skilled nursing, rehabilitation, therapeutic, recreation and special education services to children and young adults, birth to age 22. We are affiliated with Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston and have access to the expertise of its world-renowned physicians.
Our staff supports continued family involvement in the lives of children who live at NEPC, and arranges opportunities for relaxation, socialization and independent activities.Families / guardians of residents may visit whenever they wish or are able. They can take part in their child's daily activities as often as they like. NEPC informs and consults with families / guardians on medical and educational decisions.
